Roy Keane opens up on possibility of Manchester United challenging Arsenal for the league.

Roy Keane has given encouraging statements to Manchester United’s hope on winning the league as he says if the Red devils can get a win against the Gunners on Sunday then they are very much in the mix.

Arsenal and Manchester United face off at the Emirates in what promises to be a very interesting and exciting match as both teams are in flying form and with Arsenal Ontop of the league, it is important to note that a win against Manchester United will further increase their chances of winning the league.

Manchester United currently sit 4th in the league and a win against the Gunners puts them 5 points behind the league leaders meaning they could potentially challenge for the league as well.

Former Manchester United star spoke about the possibility of the Red devils challenging for the league and said “Can they [ManUtd ] get in the mix of winning the title?”

“You would have been told you’re mad saying that a few months ago. But if they can come and win here today, it’s a big ask, they are very much in the mix.”

“Anything less than a win [against Arsenal], and you can certainly forget about Manchester United for the title.”

“Man United had such a difficult start to the season – it’s great to see their recovery.”

“They are obviously slightly behind Arsenal in terms of the level of performances and of course, the points total, but it is a great chance for United today.”
