Rodri has opened up on Manchester City’s chances of winning the Premier League this season after the Manchester derby.
The Citizens faced a 2 – 1 defeat to Manchester United in the league game on Saturday evening. Jack Grealish scored for his team, however, Bruno Fernandes’ and Marcus Radford’s goals saw United grab three points from the game.
As a result, City are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League table, one point ahead of Newcastle United and Manchester United and eight points behind the leaders Arsenal.
Being asked whether the run for the league title is over for City, Rodri said:
“No. There’s a long way to go. In the end it’s going to give more spice to the Premier League but it’s only one game [the loss vs United] so we cannot drop. We have experience, we know where we are, we know the team we are…”
