The winger confessed that all the top six teams and even Liverpool, despite the poor start of the current campaign, have the chance of being crowned as 2022/23 champions at the end of the season.

Manchester City are currently standing second in the domestic league with 29 points after twelve opening 12 league games.

Arsenal have returned to the top of the table with 31 points following their win against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Tottenham comfortably sitting third after their dramatic 2-3 comeback over Bournemouth on Saturday. Meanwhile, Newcastle, who are thriving under Eddie Howe this season, are two points behind, at fourth.

Graham Potter’s Chelsea stand at fifth as they lost an important three points to Brighton last night, while sixth-placed Manchester United are yet to host West Ham tonight, October 30.

However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are stuck at ninth with 16 points, fifteen points behind the leader Arsenal.

Speaking on Manchester City’s official website, the 31-year-old stated:

“This season I think Arsenal are very good. All of the top six really.

“Even Liverpool, they are away from us at the moment, but I still think they can be there at the end of the season. All the top six [and Liverpool] can challenge us for the Premier League and all of the other trophies.”
