Rio Ferdinand has made his prediction on Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham amid latest transfer links.
Kane’s current deal at the North London side is set to expire in the summer of 2024, and he is yet to sign a new contract with the club.
The England international has been recently linked with a move to Manchester United amid his doubtful future at Tottenham.
Despite the links, Ferdinand believes Kane will decide on signing a contract extension with the Spurs.
“If I’m a betting man, I’m going to say I reckon Harry Kane stays at Spurs and just goes, outright, for the goalscoring record,” the ex-United man said on his YouTube channel.
“He’s up for renegotiation soon for a new contract. If he just says, yes, I want to be at Spurs, his bargaining power’s gone,” he added.
