Formula 2 driver Juri Vips has been dismissed from all duties on the Red Bull program.
Vips used a racist swear word during a game stream featuring another Red Bull junior, Liam Lawson.
The Red Bull has suspended junior Juri Vips from all team duties and will conduct a full investigation into the incident.
“As an organization, we condemn insults of any kind and implement a policy of zero tolerance for racist remarks or behaviour within our organization,” Red Bull said in a statement.
Vips commented on the incident.
“I would like to sincerely apologize for the insult during the game stream. It is completely unacceptable and not a reflection of my values and principles. I deeply regret my actions, and this is not an example I wish to set. I will fully cooperate with the investigation,” the Estonian pilot wrote on social media.
