As one of the most promising young midfielders in the game, Jude Bellingham is set to generate intense transfer interest in the upcoming months.

The 19-year-old England international has made a stunning rise to prominence since his transfer to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2020 from Birmingham City.

Real Madrid has identified Bellingham as a top priority for the summer of 2023 to freshen up their midfield, with doubts surrounding the future of veteran midfielders like Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, who are both out of contract at the end of the season.

The Merengues have been actively working towards securing Bellingham’s signature, but according to recent reports from
, they are starting to believe that the young star may be leaning towards a move to the Premier League instead.

The race to sign Bellingham is heating up, with Liverpool and Manchester City also in the running. Reports suggest that the Reds may even be leading the pursuit for the young midfielder at this point.

While Real Madrid had initially identified Bellingham as their top target and heir to Modric, their primary backup plan of Enzo Fernandez is no longer an option after his recent move to Chelsea from SL Benfica.

With no further alternative plans in place, the future of Real Madrid’s pursuit of a new midfielder for the summer transfer window remains uncertain.

The battle to sign Jude Bellingham is sure to be one of the hottest storylines in the upcoming transfer window, and it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
