Real Madrid have already began plans for Carlo Ancelotti’s replacement as they reportedly favor reunion with another former manager.

Following a struggling spell, the Whites reached out to the then Everton boss, Ancelotti who immediately quit his job in the Premier League for a second time action in the La Liga.

Since his return things have turned for the better, clinging unto another UEFA Champions League trophy, justifying why he left his role at Everton.

Just like every good story has an end, the end of Ancelotti’s days at Real Madrid is finally coming near with the Italian likely to retire by the end of the current season.

Italian newspaper La Repubblica claims Jose Mourinho has received interest from Real Madrid on a possible reunion offer and that has caused the former Chelsea boss to stall his renewal talks with AS Roma.

Coinciding with events is Ancelotti’s contract set to run out this summer when he is expected to retire.
