The Gers beat PSV in the UCL play-off round with a 3-2 aggregate score on Wednesday.
Rangers have come a long way since they last reached the group stages of the Champions League in the 2010/11 season.
In 2012, the Gers were playing in the third division and during the 12 years, the Scottish side got on their feet step by step.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side are included in Pot 4 and will discover their group opponents on Thursday, August 25 at 5pm UK time in the UCL Group Stage draw.
