Mikel Arteta has raved about Fabio Vieira following Arsenal’s game with Oxford United, claiming the player has the quality to decide games.
The Gunners celebrated a 3 – 0 win over the opponents in the FA Cup third round. Mohamed Elneny and Eddie Nketiah scored the winning goals to secure their team’s place in the next stage of the domestic tier.
Vieira played a key role in the team, providing two assists during the clash. Arteta was pleased with the player’s performance and shared his high praise for the Portuguese.
“He contributed in a big way to win the game. That’s his quality – to create goals, to decide games in the final third & he had two really good moments that helped us win the game. The moment we started to do things better, he found more space,” the manager said.
