Pep Guardiola has reacted to Manchester City’s defeat to Brentford on Saturday.
The Citizens faced a 2 – 1 loss to the Premier League opponents. Phil Foden’s goal was not enough to secure three points for the team.
As a result, City remain in second place in the league table, five points behind the leaders, Arsenal.
“The better team won,” Guardiola said after the Brentford match, via City Xtra.
The City manager then added: “Tactically, we had the problems to control. We struggled to win the long balls from [David] Raya to [Ivan] Toney…”
