Pep Guardiola has spoken out on Erling Haaland amid Champions League goal drought.
Erling Haaland had an incredible first season with Manchester City last year and won the treble including Champions League title.
This season, Haaland has yet to find the back of the net in the UCL and he has raised concerns among fans about the goal drought.
His last Champions League goal came in the second leg of last season’s quarter-final against Bayern Munich on 19 April.
Meanwhile, in the Premier League he has scored 9 goals in 9 games so far.
Speaking on Haaland, Guardiola said: “The expectations are so high but he handles it really well.
“He knows, he could’ve scored even more goals in that group stage, nine PL games… he could’ve scored more goals than last season”.
