Pep Guardiola has opened up on the Premier League title race following the latest game with Arsenal.
The Citizens celebrated a 4-1 triumph over Mikel Arteta’s team in the top-flight domestic league on Wednesday. Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones and Erling Haaland scored to put their side in the lead against the opposition.
This latest victory has kept City in second position in the league table, trailing the league leaders Arsenal by two points, with two games in hand.
Following the match, Guardiola was questioned about the title race, stating that his team’s performance will determine the possibility of claiming the title.
“It depends on us. Until today I prefer the position for Arsenal because if Arsenal beat us it is in their hands. Now it is in our destiny. I have a feeling the next three games will dictate a lot,” the City boss told the club’s official website.
