Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reacted to Julian Alvarez’s latest success with Argentina at World Cup in Qatar.
Alvarez is enjoying his World Cup campaign with the South American side as they have reached the final of the top tournament.
Manchester City attacker has shown impressive performances with his national team, reaching Pele’s record as the youngest player after the Brazilian to score two goals in the competition’s semi-finals.
“We are all so happy for him, all of us,” Guardiola said about Alvarez following the Citizens’ friendly match with Girona.
“He is going to play the World Cup final, have a few days’ rest and then come back to us.”
