Manchester City prepare to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Ahead of the game, Pep Guaridola has provided injury news. Guardiola spoke about Erling Haaland, John Stones and Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne has already made his return from a long term injury and played 33 minutes against Huddersfield in the FA Cup 3rd round game.

Haaland and Stones are another injury concerns that are currently still out.

“Jack [Grealish] has been sick and hopefully today he is back. Erling [Haaland] is out and John [Stones] is out. I think that’s everything,” said Guardiola.

“Kevin De Bruyne is ready to start and I can see he is very good and the trip to Abu Dhabi will do him good too. I saw him yesterday and he feels good and dynamic. He played well, better than the sessions before Huddersfield. He’s getting better.”
