Pep Guardiola has been asked about Manchester City’s January transfer window plans ahead of their Premier League game against Leeds
City face Leeds United in the Premier League at Elland Road on Wednesday, December 28.
Guardiola’s side returned to action following the World Cup break in EFL Cup round of 16 where they celebrated a 3-2 victory over Liverpool and qualified for the next round.
Now Guardiola’s side have set their sights to the game against the Whites. City are currently 3rd in the league table with 8 points behind the league leaders Arsenal and two games in hand.
City had a busy summer transfer window as they signed Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez as well as Kalvin Phillips, Manuel Akanji and others.
And as the January transfer window is upon us, Guardiola has been asked about City’s plans.
“No, I don’t think so. I think we’re going to finish this way. I don’t know what’s going to happen. But since I arrived from Abu Dhabi, with Txiki [Begiristain] and everyone, there wasn’t any name on the table.” Guardiola said via the Manchester City Website on signing players in January.
