Pep Guardiola has spoken out on Manchester City’s season so far as they prepare for their Champions League clash with RB Leipzig
Manchester City will face RB Leipzig in the Champions League round of 16 second leg game on Tuesday, March 14. The first game between the sides ended in a 1-1 draw.
City are currently in a Premier League title race with Arsenal as the Gunners lead league table with five points ahead of second placed Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side are also currently competing in FA Cup quarter-finals where they will face Burnley on Saturday, March 18.
“Really important. Not just for a better international break, for the fact to be alive last 2 months of the season. As much to extend being alive, in the PL and Europe, to be close to Arsenal, it will be good,” Guardiola said during a press conference ahead of Leipzig clash.
