Pep Guardiola has opened up on Julian Alvarez after the Argentina international’s latest success at World Cup.
Alvarez was part of his national team that lifted the World Cup trophy on December 18 after beating France in the final of the top tournament.
Guardiola has now shared his excitement and pride about the City star’s achievement. He also stressed that Alvarez plays an important role in the club as well.
“Thanks to Argentina, he’ll come back to Man City a better player. That’s magnificent for us!” the manager said.
“We’ll see what happens day by day. But he’s important with this amount of games, injuries, whatever; to have Julian is so important,” he added.
