The Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Patrick Beverley believes that the Philadelphia 76ers should offer James Harden the highest possible contract extension.
“I would offer him a ‘super duper max’ contract extension. Who can defend against James Harden ? Just the whole team. No player can do that,” Beverly said.
Harden (32) moved to the Sixers ahead of the deadline. If he activates the player option, he will be able to sign a 4-year maximum contract extension with the club for $222.8 million from August 10, 2022.
In the 2022 playoffs, he averaged 18.6 points, 8.6 assists and 5.7 rebounds.
Patrick Beverley on James Harden:
“Money wise, you give the boy whatever he’s asking for. It might sound crazy, but there’s no one in the league that can kind of do what he can do.”
