Olivier Giroud is close to equalling/breaking Thierry Henry’s record for France.

France are preparing to face Austria on Thursday, September 22 in the Nations League group stage game. Following that game, the French team will face Denmark on September 25 in the last group stage game of the Nations League.

Didier Deschamps’ side are currently 4th in the group with just 2 points.

During the international break, Giroud could become France’s all-time men’s leading goalscorer as he is close to equalling/breaking Thierry Henry’s record for France.

The 35-year-old has scored 48 goals in 112 games, meanwhile, Henry has 51 goals in 123 games.
