Gabriel Jesus was forced to leave Brazil and the World Cup due to having suffered a right knee injury.

Later, Arsenal confirmed that Jesus has successfully undergone surgery on his knee. The player is expected to be sidelined for long term.

Zinchenko, who also suffered long-term injuries during this season, told to Sky Sports: “I said already that we are all behind him. We are all supporting him.

“Of course it’s a big miss for our team, and the impact what he’s doing for the club is amazing. I know him for a while – he’s a big warrior and I’m 100% sure that he’ll be back much, much stronger.”
