Piers Morgan has only released just a part of the interview with Cristiano Ronaldo which he tagged part 1 and a lot of revelations have been made by the player.

Maybe could be out of frustration due to lack of playtime or standing for the club, but whatever thing it is that led Ronaldo into speaking up must have been really strong.

The Portuguese in the lengthy interview shared that Manchester United actually made a big mistake by not bringing in a high profile manager after they sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Solskjaer lost his job after series of poor run with United turning to Ralf Rangnick who had to quit his office as Sporting Director in his former club to come take up the new role at United.

Though the 64-year-old didn’t do an awful job but according to Ronaldo, he had no clue about what he was doing at United.

Speaking in the interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo said when asked if Rangnick knew what he was doing; “No.”

In addition, the 37-year-old continued when asked if he respected Rangnick; “Of course, I respect, we have to call [him boss] because he assumed the job regardless – all the coaches that I had in my career, I call them boss because if they assume the job we have to call in that way.

“In the end, deep inside me, I never saw him [Rangnick] as the boss because I saw some points that I never agreed [with].

“I respect any coach, every different approach, different opinions, different mentality, but kind of [there are] some points that you don’t agree with.

”I’ve always been, besides the best coaches in the world: Zidane and Ancelotti, Mourinho, Fernando Santos, Allegri… so I have kind of, some experience because I learn from them.

“When you sack Ole Gunnar Solskjær, you should bring a top manager, not a sports director.”
