Chelsea faced Brighton in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 and celebrated a 1-0 win.
The Blues celebrated their first win in five games and scored their first goal of the month.
Nicolas Jackson scored the only goal of the game.
Following the win, he took to Instagram and wrote: “God controls the world not people 🙏🏾 Next round 💙.”
The Blues will face Blackburn Rovers in the round of 16 in October.
