Newcastle United is set to make a significant splash in the upcoming summer transfer window. Following an impressive campaign under the leadership of Eddie Howe, The Magpies are reportedly eyeing substantial investments into their squad. As per reports from the Evening standard , the club has identified several key targets, including Arsenal’s talented left-back Kieran Tierney.

The Scottish Defender has not featured regularly for the Gunners this season, . With the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City this season, it appears that the Ukrainian is Mikel Arteta’s preferred choice at left-back. For Tierney, a move to St. James’ Park could provide the regular first-team football he craves and a chance to reinvigorate his stagnating career.

Now under the ownership of Saudi Arabian investors, Newcastle United is eager to push on to the next level of competitiveness. Should they qualify for next season’s Champions League, fans will undoubtedly expect to see some of the best players in the Magpies colours.

The signing of Tierney would certainly fit the bill and add further quality to a squad that is already brimming with potential under the guidance of Howe.
