Newcastle United are set to win the race over Arsenal and Tottenham to get Mohammed Kudus’ transfer.
Eddie Howe’s side alongside fellow Premier League rival Arsenal have joined Tottenham in the race to sign the Ajax star.
The 22-year-old is currently in Qatar representing his Ghana national team in World Cup 2022. The Eredivisie side ace has been in the spotlight following his brace against South Korea in thrilling a 3 – 2 win.
According to Bild, the Magpies, standing third in the domestic league, are the main candidates to get the payer’s signature in January. It’s believed, Kudus would rather join Newcastle over the Gunners and Spurs to get regular playing time, which could be quite difficult in London.
The Ghana star could make around £30 million switch to St. James Park stadium during the winter transfer window.
