Newcastle United is reportedly considering disrupting Tottenham Hotspur’s potential acquisition of Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa.
According to insights from Football Insider , Spurs currently hold a strong position in securing the 18-year-old, with plans to immediately loan him back to Brugge for the remainder of the season.
Despite Nusa’s inclination to remain in Belgium for the second half of the campaign, recent reports from Football Insider suggest that Newcastle is poised to enter the race. This potential move comes in the wake of speculation surrounding Miguel Almiron’s potential transfer to Al-Shabab.
Almiron has reportedly reached personal terms with the Saudi-based club, pending a transfer fee agreement. Should Almiron make the move to the Middle East, Eddie Howe is believed to view Nusa as the ideal long-term replacement for the 28-year-old winger.
While Tottenham remains the frontrunner to secure the Norwegian-born attacker, the emergence of Newcastle as a contender is likely to add complexity to the situation.
