Brunson has agreed to a four-year contract with the Knicks with a combined salary of $110 million.

According to The Athletic insider Fred Katz, Dallas is unhappy that Knicks executive William Wesley attended the Mavericks’ game against the Jazz in the 2022 playoffs.

Katz also notes that reports of the deal came before New York was allowed to negotiate with Brunson
