Walid Regragui has shared to the public what he realized would get the best out of Hakim Ziyech following sensational performance against Belgium.
Morocco stunned Belgium with a 2-0 score line with Hakim Ziyech providing assist to the last goal after having his opening go ruled offside.
Ziyech has struggled since Frank Lampard’s departure from Chelsea but with the World Cup in action, the player has shown to still be in perfect shape.
Being one of the most deadliest players, Belgium had to deal with on Sunday evening, Ziyech headed home with the man of the match award.
Following an interview after the game, Morocco manager, Walid Regragui shared how he managed to get Ziyech firing again.
“Incredible. A lot of people talk about him as a difficult guy to manage but what I see is that, when you give him love and confidence, he will die for you. It is what I give him and he returns my confidence,” the coach said.
