Mohamed Salah sends “devastated” message following Liverpool’s Champions League failure

Mohamed Salah has taken to Twitter to send a message as the Reds were not being able to qualify for the Champions League next season.

Mohamed Salah took to Twitter to react to Liverpool’s Champions League failure as they were unable to qualify for the tournament next season.

The Reds were only able to confirm their spot in the Europa League group stages as they are currently 5th in the league with one game left to the season.

The 2022/23 campaign wasn’t one of the bests for Jurgen Klopp’s side and this is the first time, the Reds fail to qualify for the Champions League under Klopp.

Taking o Twitter, Salah wrote: “I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed.

“We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.”
