Mohamed Salah has joined an elite Premier League company following his goal in Liverpool’s opening day game on Saturday, August 6.
The Reds faced Fulham in the league opener and played a 2-2 draw as Darwin Nunez and Salah scored for Jurgen Klopp’s side, while Aleksandr Mitrovic scored a double for the Cottagers.
With his goal against Fulham, the Egyptian has now scored eight Premier League goals on the opening day of the season.
He joins the ranks of Alan Shearer, Frank Lampard and Wayne Rooney, who have also scored eight goals each.
