Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has reacted to Barcelona star Gerard Pique’s retirement news from club football.
Pique announced about his retirement on Thursday. The Spain professional is going to play his last game with Barcelona this Saturday.
The defender will terminate his current contract and leave La Liga side sooner than expected.
Mikel Arteta was shocked to hear the news regarding Pique and shared his honest thoughts on the player when speaking to the media:
“I just find out! Wow! I don’t know what to say,” he said. “He will be missed because I think he was a top, world-class player.”
