Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Declan Rice after he missed Arsenal’s clash with Barcelona.

Arsenal faced Barcelona in pre-season friendly game on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 and celebrated a 5-3 victory.
Declan Rice, who joined the Gunners this summer, missed the game due to a minor injury.
Following the game, Mikel Arteta provided an update and said: “Dec had quite a strong kick in training so we didn’t want to take the risk.
“He wasn’t really comfortable training yesterday and we decided not to train.”
