Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Thomas Partey following his injury ahead of Arsenal vs Manchester United.
Arsenal faced Manchester United on Sunday and celebrated a 3-1 late win over United.
Ahead of the game, when the Gunners released their starting lineup, the club confirmed that Partey missed the game due to groin injury.
Mikel Arteta’s side celebrated a victory after being 1-0 down following Marcus Rashford’s goal at the 27th minute.
Martin Odegaard equalised a minute later, meanwhile, Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus won the game at the 90+6 and 90+11 minutes.
Speaking on Partey, Arteta said during a press conference: “It doesn’t look good. I believe he’ll be out for weeks. It’s more a groin injury.”
