Mikel Arteta has opened up on Cedric Soares’ future at Arsenal amid Fulham links.
Soares has been recently targeted by the Premier League side for the upcoming transfer window. His current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires in the summer of 2024.
Amid the latest transfer talks, Arteta was asked about the 31-year-old in the pre-match conference ahead of West Ham clash.
“We know where we are in terms of the squad and numbers that we have. We’ll be extremely cautious about what we want to do in the window,” the Gunners’ manager said, via Football London.
Arsenal are currently leading the Premier League table with 37 points. They are set to face the Hammers on the Boxing Day on December 26, 2022.
