Arsenal hosted Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday, February 4 and celebrated a 3-1 win.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard scored for the Gunners, while Gabriel Magalhaes scored an own goal for the Reds and Ibrahima Konate was sent off after reciving two yellow cards.

During the game, Saka suffered an injury and was substituted at the 79th minute, meanwhile, Oleksandr Zinchenko was also replaced as Jakub Kiwior came on at half-time.

Following the game, Arteta provided injury updates on the duo.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Arteta said: “We have lost four or five big players for almost all the season and today it’s [Zinchenko].

“Let’s see how it is, but Thomas [Partey] as well, Gabriel Jesus as well, [Jurrien] Timber, [Takehiro] Tomiyasu still away. Some big players.

“But when I have players like Jorgi or Leo, the way they train every day, that you made them play 10 minutes or 96 minutes, and look how they do. And that’s not a coincidence, it’s the way they behave every day”.

“He should be fine,” Arteta said of Saka during press conference.

“He got a kick I think on the ankle or on the back of his foot, but he should be fine.”
