Mikel Arteta has provided an update on William Saliba ahead of Arsenal’s Boxing Day clash with West Ham in the Premier League.
The Gunners prepare to take on West Ham in their Premier League return following the World Cup on Boxing Day, Monday, December 26.
Ahead of the game, Arteta has spoken out on William Saliba’s availability. Saliba reached the Qatar 2022 final with France, however, missed out on the glory after suffering a defeat to Argentina on penalties.
“Let’s see depending on how he comes back as well,” said Arteta.
“We have the data on what he’s done in training in terms of minutes he didn’t participate much but it was a huge experience for him. Let’s see. When he gets back we’ll see.”
