Angry Arteta was seen, fuming due to the result of the Saturday game which was played at the Emirates Stadium, before the home fans.

Substitute, Trossard gave the home boys the lead, minutes after half his introduction, but Arsenal failed to hold on to it before the final whistle, as Ivan Toney would score a controversial equalizer.

Mason, who was on VAR duty for the clash failed to spot out a clear offside goal of the Bees, but the Chief Refereeing Officer at PGMOL, Howard Webb contacted Arsenal to apologize, as that was a clear offside, and that the goal never should have stood.

Webb’s message was not welcomed by the Arsenal Boss as he ranted that the two points his team was denied is crucial to the team, and that at such time of pressure from the league, the team could not afford to loose two points.

Having lost to 18th placed Everton in the last game, Gunners came all our for a win in their match against the Bees in a bid to keep their title race alive.

Arteta when asked about his feeling towards the apology, said that he would feel great if the two points were to be restored, but that was never going to be the case.

Arsenal are to host Manchester City on Wednesday at the Emirates Stadium, as the race for tittle keeps gaining momentum.
