Crystal Palace are said to be closing in on a loan deal for young midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga from Premier League giants, Arsenal. The Belgian international is set to undergo a medical at Selhurst Park ahead of a temporary move, as per reports from GFFN.

Lokonga has been limited to just a handful of appearances for the Gunners this season, and with a view to his development, a loan move to Palace presents the ideal opportunity for the talented midfielder to gain valuable playing time and experience.

At Selhurst Park, Lokonga will be reunited with Arsenal legend and current Palace manager, Patrick Vieira. The former World Cup winner has a reputation for nurturing young talent and helping players reach their full potential, and his presence at Palace will surely be a boost for Lokonga’s development.

Vieira, who was once considered one of the best midfielders in the world, will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table, and there is no doubt that he will have plenty to offer Lokonga in terms of his footballing education.

In conclusion, the loan move to Palace is a smart one for both player and club, and it will be intriguing to see how Lokonga develops under the guidance of one of the greats of the modern game.
