EX-Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has left Fenerbahce?
According to multiple reports, Fenerbahce terminated Mesut Ozil’s contract after he was frozen out of the first team.
The former Arsenal star has not played for the Turkish side after being excluded from the squad following a row with interim head coach Ismail Kartal since March 20.
However, the 33-year-old wasn’t welcomed back into the squad by the team’s new manager, Jorge Jesus, and subsequently sat out the rest of the campaign.

Ozil has made 32 appearances for Fenerbahce, scoring eight goals.
It seems he will keep these stats, as there is no way back for the midfielder in Istanbul. There were rumours that Ozil was preparing to end his career at Fenerbahce, but that is no longer possible.
As a result, the former Real Madrid playmaker will be a free agent this summer.
