Tennis player Daniil Medvedev may return to the #1 ranking of the ATP rankings.
This will happen if the current world’s #1 Novak Djokovic loses at a tournament in Rome before reaching the semi-finals. The Serb will face Russia’s Aslan Karatsev in the second round of the Masters.
Daniil Medvedev has a chance of playing in the first seed for the first time in his career at a Grand Slam tournament.
Medvedev is currently 270 points behind Djokovic. The Russian has 7,990 points, while the Serb has 8,260.
Roland Garros will be played from May 16 to June 5.
