Pochettino has spoken out on Palmer’s performance following United win.
Chelsea faced Manchester United on Thursday and celebrated a 4-3 win.
The Blues opened the scoring in the 4th minute as Conor Gallagher scored. Cole Palmer equalised minutes later from penalty.
In the first half the Red Devils also scored two goals as Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes got their names on the scoresheet.
In the second half, Palmer formed a double and eventually scored a hat-trick. Garnacho also scored in the second half and formed a double.
Speaking following the thrilling win, Pochettino said: “His best skill I think, one of the best skills is his mentality, the capacity to deal with the pressure. He’s young, it’s his first season playing very consistently. It’s amazing the way he deals with the pressure.
“He can be a very good player. With the performance today, it’s impossible to say he’s not a top player, no? But he can still improve.”
