Ahead of the game, Mauricio Pochettino has provided an update on Wesley Fofana. Fofana has been sidelined since summer after undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery.
The player has now returned to training and Pochettino was asked about his return to the squad.
“I don’t know [when he will return]. [Next year?] Yes,” said Pochettino.
