According to man of the match winner of Tuesday night at San Siro, Chelsea have become a more clinical side ever since the new manager took over.

Blues announced the shocking sack of their former Manager after losing their first Champions League match of the season, appointing former Brighton Manager, Graham Potter who was then still in contract with the Seagulls.

Mason Mount believes Potter quitting Brighton for Chelsea has been one of the best decision the manager has made in his career as he is yet to lose any game since his arrival.

Potter has repeated similar results as Thomas Tuchel in his first 5 games, both managers drew their first game at Stamford Bridge and then followed up with 4 consecutive wins.

However it appeared there is a different Chelsea compared to what Blues were like under Tuchel since Potter took over. The English man has managed to change their playing mentality and as well affected their finishings.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was able to get on the score sheet again last night for Chelsea with assist coming from Mason Mount who has shared that his new role under Potter has helped him assist more and be in better positions.

“I feel good, I’m enjoying it and we’re playing well and scoring goals. That’s the most important thing. Hopefully next I get a goal because it’s been coming, I just haven’t finished it off yet, but I’ll take the assists.”

“Working under Graham Potter? It’s been brilliant. You can see the way we play. We’ve been attacking, a big threat going forward. Solid at the back and built from the back. We’re going in the right direction, hopefully that continues.”

“What Graham Potter has changed with me? Not too much, just trying to get in the box, connect the midfielders to the strikers and be able to move, get assists and goals. It’s been happening for me in the last couple of games, I want more.”
