Had Kepa Arrizabalaga not pulled off an impressive day-saving performance, Mason Mount could have been named the MOTM following his superb fine performance.

Kepa Arrizabalaga kept his 50th clean-sheet for Chelsea on Sunday with his superb 7 saves against a team that had xG of 2.06 to mark his 4th clean-sheet for the first time since 2019.

Mason Mount also another hero of the day saw his free-kick goal wipe off Marcos Alonso’s name as the last Chelsea player to net a free-kick.

Alonso was the last player before Mason Mount to net a free kick for Chelsea which poorly dated back in 2021 as the side hasn’t netted a free-kick since this year.

Mount is having a good run this season, as he has also become the player with most goal contributions (4 assists and 2 goals).

Chelsea will lock horns with Brentford on Wednesday and Mount hopes for a starting eleven appearance to further his fine run.
