Marquinhos made his full debut for Arsenal after having signed for them during the summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old scored a debut goal as the Gunners celebrated a 2-1 victory over FC Zurich in the Europa League group stage opener.
He also provided an assist for Arsenal’s second goal as Eddie Nketiah got his name on the scoresheet.
Following the game, he took to Instagram to send a message.
He wrote: “God is wonderful. Dream come true to debut with this giant shirt, very happy for the goal and the victory… just the beginning, lets go !!!”
