Marco Silva has addressed how Fulham are preparing for Manchester United and issued team news including Aleksandar Mitrovic fitness.
Fulham manager Marco Silva has ruled out Aleksandar Mitrovic from his squad that will face Manchester United on Sunday in the Premier League.
Silva also pointed out how his side is preparing to face Man United, should the Red Devils perform at their very best.
Fulham succumbed to a late 2-1 defeat to 10 men Manchester City last weekend but are determined to bounce back to winning ways against Manchester United.
Their chances of pulling off an upset this weekend have been thwarted by the absence of Aleksandar Mitrovic due to a foot injury.
The Cottagers confirmed that they will also be without Harrison Reed and Kenny Tete after the pair accumulated a fifth booking of the season each last weekend.
Silva has warned that it will be a tough game for Fulham if Manchester United play at their very best at Craven Cottage.
On Man United, Silva said: “They [Manchester United] haven’t been consistent like they would like to be.
“If they’re at their best level, they’re a really tough team to play against and that’s what we’ll prepare for.”
Manchester United are also likely to be without a number of first team players after Erik ten Hag claimed during his press-conference today that he has no idea if his injured and ill players will be fit in time for the trip.
Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo are sick while Antony is injured and the trio are doubts.
