Marco Reus has admitted it won’t easy for Borussia Dortmund to ‘stop’ former team-mate Erling Haaland.
Manchester United are set to host Borussia Dortmund in the second matchday of Champions League group stage games.
Both teams will be hoping for another successful result following their impressive start of the journey.
Since joining the Premier League, this will be the first time for the Norwegian superstar to face his former side.
Talking to The Guardian on his pre-match conference, Dortmund’s captain was full of praise towards his ex-mate.
“It’s simply sensational how he is performing at the moment in Manchester. It helps that his teammates are not the worst.
“How do you stop him? Good question. It’s not easy to stop him. One of the keys is not to be too late with your decisions, to be good at anticipating what is going to happen.
“You have to stay close to him to be able to stop him as much as possible for 90 minutes. Then you just have to hope he doesn’t have his best day.” added Reus.
