Manchester United will host Manchester City at the Theatre of Dreams today and below are our predicted starting lineups, predictions and the team news for the second Manchester derby.

Man United are in top form, having won their last five matches, at least, across all competitions and the same can’t be said of Manchester City.

Man City crashed out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday following a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium.

The Citizens will tend to bounce back to winning ways against Man United but this game is obviously a tough one for both teams.

Manchester United Team News

The Red Devils will be without the likes of Donny van de Beek, Diogo Dalot and Jadon Sancho in their squad to face Manchester City due to injuries and personal reasons.

Predicted starting lineup

Goalkeeper: David de Gea

Defenders: Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Shaw

Midfielders: Casemiro, Eriksen, Fernandes

Forwards: Antony, Martial, Rashford

Manchester City Team News

The Citizens will be without both centre-backs Ruben Dias and John Stones due to injury issues.

Predicted starting lineup

Goalkeeper: Ederson

Defenders: Cancelo, Akanji, Laporte, Ake

Midfielders: Rodri, De Bruyne, Gundogan

Forwards: Mahrez, Haaland, Foden

Predictions

Prediction One: Man United’s total yellow cards: Over 2.5

Prediction Two: Total goals: Under 2.5

Prediction Three: Both teams to score: NO
