A credible report from El Futbolero reveals that the Red Devils are keenly eyeing the young talent, facing stiff competition from fellow Premier League contenders Luton Town and Brighton and Hove Albion.

Widely regarded as the “next Moises Caicedo,” Zambrano has emerged as one of South America’s most promising young players. His journey from LDU’s youth ranks to the first-team squad nearly two years ago has seen him amass nearly 50 appearances for the club. Notably, he stands on the brink of making his debut for the Ecuador national side.

The Premier League giants are not the only ones recognizing Zambrano’s potential, with several European clubs expressing interest in his remarkable form and development. Previous transfer windows linked him to Barcelona, who sought a defensive midfielder following Sergio Busquets’ departure.

Manchester United, in particular, is resolute in securing the services of the player dubbed ‘the next Moises Caicedo.’ This pursuit stems from the regret of missing out on the actual Moises Caicedo in a past transfer window, a decision that left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eager to add Zambrano’s talent to the Old Trafford roster, despite initial hesitations from Ed Woodward.
