Manchester United are reportedly showing interest in Benfica’s striker Goncalo Ramos. As per a report from the Portuguese publication Record (h/t Sport Witness ), the Red Devils are keeping a close eye on the 21-year-old’s contract situation at the Portuguese club.

It has been claimed that Benfica had promised Ramos a new contract last year, but have yet to deliver on that promise, leaving the player feeling frustrated. With his current deal set to expire in 2024, this delay has potentially opened the door for United to make a move.

Ramos has enjoyed a phenomenal season with Benfica, scoring an impressive 24 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions. He also caught the eye with his performances in the recently concluded World Cup.

It remains to be seen if United will follow up their interest with a concrete offer for the talented striker at the end of the season. Nonetheless, Ramos’ form this campaign is undoubtedly attracting the attention of top European clubs.
