Manchester United are reportedly in negotiations for the transfer of Ruben Neves from Wolves, with Barcelona having withdrawn from the race.
Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, with negotiations for a transfer already underway, according to reports in Spain.
The Portuguese has been a subject of transfer speculation for the past year and is expected to leave Molineux this summer as his contract enters its final year. While Wolves could be hesitant to let go of their star player, they may be willing to listen to offers considering the risk of losing him for free in 2024.
United seem to have received a boost in their pursuit of Neves as Barcelona have withdrawn from the race for the midfielder’s signature.
SPORT reports that Neves is “already negotiating what could be his transfer to United starting next summer”.
Erik ten Hag’s side are keen to reinforce their midfield despite the recent signings of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Marcel Sabitzer.
